Trim bracelets

Materials:
  • 18 gauge wire
  • needle nose pliers
  • decorative trim ( I bought mine at Joannes for $2)
  • scissors
  • hot glue gun (not pictured)
How-to:
  1. Start by measuring the wire around your wrist adding an additional six inches and cut
  2. bend the wire into a U shape, and create a loop on both ends twisting the wire around itself to secure

3.  Glue one end of the trim just past the loop in the wire (you can cover the loop if you wish but I  kept it for decorative purposes)
4. Add hot glue down the trim in segments and press it onto the wire. Be careful not to burn yourself!
5. Stop before you reach the other end and cut off the excess trim,  be sure to glue the end of the trim together so that it does not fray

Viola! These bracelets are so easy and fun to make. With all that trim and fringe out there the possibilities are endless.

Below you can see I did the same thing by making the first loop and stringing beads on the wire instead!
